LevelUp awarded a place on the Digital Services Framework

We’re pleased to announce that LevelUp has been awarded a place on the Digital Services Framework (DSF). It’s been a long road to success but we’re excited to have made the cut and are looking forward to exploring this new opportunity…

What is the Digital Services Framework?

The DSF has been mandated for use across government and must be used by all central government departments, their arm’s length bodies, non-departmental public bodies and executive agencies.

The framework has been created to support the Government Digital Strategy, in redesigning the government’s digital services. The aim is to make public interaction with government services more efficient, accessible and convenient. Only suppliers who make the grade, are allowed to work for the DSF.

The IT industry currently has very little in the way of regulation or recognised certification. By introducing this framework, government and public sector organisations now have access to an exclusive group of high quality practitioners.

Understandably, the application process for the DSF has been rigorous. Over a ten-month period, we’ve been thoroughly vetted and put through our paces. Through this process, we’ve demonstrated that we meet the expectations set out in the Government Service Design Manual.

Embedding agile

Our place on the DSF allows us to supply government and public sector organisations with agile coaches, to provide training in agile methodologies.

This means guiding departments through the process of cultural and behavioural change, with the aim of making them fully autonomous. Importantly, the framework asks for the ability to coach all levels of an organisation, not just those at ground level.

Software development and ongoing support

As well as agile coaching, we have been awarded a place to offer software development capability to government projects.

The framework is keen to utilise not only highly skilled developers but also analysts and testers. Our agile cross-functional teams are a perfect fit, as each contains the full gamut of disciplines required to implement high quality software.

As with all our development work, the DSF also asks that we keep a relentless focus on quality and the experience of the end user. There’s an emphasis on rigorous testing, to ensure that any software we develop performs well, is secure and is easy to maintain.

Striving for excellence

At LevelUp, we’ve always worked hard to maintain the highest standards in both our technical work and our approach to projects. We’re absolutely delighted to have been awarded a place on the framework.

“This approval is a huge endorsement of how we deliver software. I'm very excited to be able to delivery in to the Framework!”
